Astraeus is a new wholly-owned subsidiary of the Chenega Corporation, an Alaska Native Corporation (ANC). We are a small business with large business capabilities due to our shared-services Program Management Office (PMO) structure. Through this, we are able to accomplish the full range of contract services including financial, human capital, recruiting, procurement, security, and technical resources to achieve contract mission requirements. As a result, our ‘small business – big capability’ dynamic benefits our clients through consistent communications and straight-lined workflows, ensuring our accountability to our clients for successful mission fulfillment.

Maintenance Services
Due to cost constraints, the DOD began to outsource their organic training development and delivery services in the mid-1990s. Today, every DoD weapon system is supported by contractors. The DOD requires training, analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation of its weapon systems as well as business and administrative systems. Astraeus positions itself to pursue on-premise, distance, and e-Learning training services contracts, aligning with specialized companies to design and manufacture simulators which require specialized engineers and equipment as the need arises.
Many U.S. Federal Government operations are entirely run by contractors or augmented by contracted support depending upon the Government's determination of the sensitivity of the mission and nature of the operational environment. Astraeus offers solutions that provide subject matter expertise (SME) required to continue the Government’s operational mission. We research and understand the nature of the SME, the availability of those SMEs to the requirement, and prepare a holistic view of the required operational services to increase operational effectiveness.
Like training and operations, the U.S. Federal Government has outsourced back-office maintenance and some front-line maintenance support. Our maintenance support will be on-site, to repair or replace equipment items. Astraeus offers staffing solutions that provide the subject matter expertise (SME) required to keep the Government’s equipment in an operational state.
